Old Stone House Day 2021, The Year of Local History Through Art
Date: Sunday, August 8, 2021
Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Old Stone House Day has brought people from all over New England to Historic Brownington Village for almost a century. Last year, the day was virtual. This year, it will kick off in-person at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, with live music by Michael Hahn Quartet, master harpist Bill Tobin and The Highland Way Trio and dulcimer-player Vicki Moore & Friends.
Come celebrate the summer with heritage arts and crafts, free museum open house tours, a keynote speech from Middlebury artist Katie Runde, food, vendors and activities for families with children including horse-drawn wagon rides to Prospect Hill. Pies can still be entered and bid upon during a live pie auction for the region's best bakers. Buy your early bird tickets today for only $4 for all those over the age of 12. Tickets cost $5 on the day of the event. Tickets are free for children under the age of 12 and Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village members. Plus, if you purchase a membership between now and Old Stone House Day, we'll throw in a free ticket for our 2021 summer raffle! If you're a member of the Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village, enter free and please be sure to stay for our Annual meeting from 2-4 p.m. in the Orleans County Grammar School.
